The OICD is proud to announce a new partnership with St John’s, Malta to offer the course “Conflict Resolution – Addressing Divisions of Identity”.

Co-conceived with St. John’s Malta, and designed and operated by the OICD, the course puts identity at the heart of a consideration of the causes of conflict and division.

Participants on this course will learn how many conflict-causing divisions in society – ethnic, racial, religious, political, economic – are rooted in issues of identity.

The course employs a combination of small-group discussion, roleplay, cooperative exercises, multimedia content and mini-lectures, and provides the frameworks and tools necessary to understand how identities create conflict, and what can be done to counter and prevent prejudice, discrimination, hatred and persecution.
